Thoughts of a late night knitter

My bank transfer came through and the Hilton finally released my card yesterday so I have money! *dances* Thanks to those lovely ladies who paid for me and the child's dinner Sunday night. It's friends like you that give me hope in this world.

While sitting by the pool - I was seized with inspiration and wrote quite a bit of story in my notebook! I'm looking forward to finishing some of my fics very soon...

Now I'm off to get the washing. Why aren't there washing fairies? I want to know...

I've arrived at squish_67's and she hasn't killed me yet!! The little guy has bamboozled her with chat about coyotes and deer (it's her fault she told him about them!), and we've corrupted her already by making her eat ham & pineapple pizza!!

We had a good trip over and it was great to have someone meet us at the airport! The little guy has already complained about us talking too much - he ain't seen nothing yet!! I'm looking forward to lots of talks about Firefly!!

We're here!! Thank Buddha - I thought the flight would never end. By the time we got to the hostel it was 11.00 pm Sunday evening. We'd been gone from home nearly 21 hours - tired doesn't describe it! Then the little guy was hungry and we had to go find something to eat!! It was 1.00pm before I got him to bed and later for me.

We spent today wandering around going to Central Park and exploring. The little guy went ice-skating at the place there (remember the movie Serendipity?) and then we spent hours looking at squirrels! He loves them... OMG I'm so cold! And the guy at the Lincoln Center tree lighting said it was a beautiful evening! Of course I've just come from the tropics - but I'm sure it was cold - really :)

I'm suffering from Internet withdrawal and haven't found a cafe yet. I'm currently using one of those coin in the slot machines so won't be spending long here. We've got three or four more days here then its off to squish_67s place! We can't wait squish!!
