Arrival

We're here!! Thank Buddha - I thought the flight would never end. By the time we got to the hostel it was 11.00 pm Sunday evening. We'd been gone from home nearly 21 hours - tired doesn't describe it! Then the little guy was hungry and we had to go find something to eat!! It was 1.00pm before I got him to bed and later for me.

We spent today wandering around going to Central Park and exploring. The little guy went ice-skating at the place there (remember the movie Serendipity?) and then we spent hours looking at squirrels! He loves them... OMG I'm so cold! And the guy at the Lincoln Center tree lighting said it was a beautiful evening! Of course I've just come from the tropics - but I'm sure it was cold - really :)

I'm suffering from Internet withdrawal and haven't found a cafe yet. I'm currently using one of those coin in the slot machines so won't be spending long here. We've got three or four more days here then its off to squish_67s place! We can't wait squish!!

I'm glad you're having fun in NY. If I didn't have to work I would drive the couple hours to come see you. But alas I do have to work and I will see you in like 10 days. I hope you have a wonderful trip!

It's not cold! I've spent the last 3 days running around outside in only a t-shirt! Wait til Friday when it's supposed to drop to about 30 degrees - that's Farenheit baby! :)

Sorry I wasn't online when you were. Curses dialup for making me stay offline to wait for your phone call when you were online looking for me...grrr.

Hey! Welcome to the New World! And that guy in Central Park was right, it's not that cold. We even got up to about 12C today (living in southern Ontario - think New York state then west). I'm excited for you and your big adventure. I hope you get to meet tonnes of Browncoats and have a nifty time. And, if you can, see if you can head north to my homeland - Canada - at least to see the Niagara Falls.
