Tech help?

Why can't things all be the same? Wouldn't it be easier??? Words can't describe my disgust at DVD country specific encoding, or that fact that no two photocopiers can ever work the same way; but the plethora of ways to play/rip/save music/view movies drives me batty.

Anyway my current problem -

The little guy has a new Ninetendo DSi and he wants to play music on it. The music has to be MP4a format. How do I convert my MP3 stuff to that? Do I need yet another conversion program?I looked on the net but nothing that made sense came up... Help me flisters - help me!

Is the music m4a or mp4 format?

I always use a Dutch one, sadly (for no other reason than that it's the easiest to use), so I can't vouch for this programme but it looks pretty good to me!

M4a (MP4a) is the audio track from MP4 encoding just like M4v(MP4v) is the video track. Kind of like WMV and WMA are teh video and audio tracks for windows media player.

And just to offer an easier suggestion.
Here is the software (DSi Music Converter) and the instructions

Just DL iTunes, and it'll do it for you :)
