Tech help?

bookaddict43Why can't things all be the same? Wouldn't it be easier??? Words can't describe my disgust at DVD country specific encoding, or that fact that no two photocopiers can ever work the same way; but the plethora of ways to play/rip/save music/view movies drives me batty.
Anyway my current problem -
The little guy has a new Ninetendo DSi and he wants to play music on it. The music has to be MP4a format. How do I convert my MP3 stuff to that? Do I need yet another conversion program?I looked on the net but nothing that made sense came up... Help me flisters - help me!
