First thanks to all you wonderful flisters who replied to my last post. *big hugs* Instead of replying to you all, I'll give you an update here.
I took the notes from the hospital to my GP and fortunately he says there is no evidence of me having had an anyurism. *sigh of relief* My blood pressure which went up so high on Saturday, is back to its usual perfect score.
Of course no one can explain what happened to me. My doctor, since I'm basically, except for my allergies, very healthy - thinks it could have been viral. He also thinks that maybe the contrast between the hot and cold weather might have helped things along. He's ordered some more tests for me though so we can check things out; diabetes, vitamin deficiencies etc.
Lucky for me I've got this week off - so I'm just taking things easy. I had lots of physical things planned to do around the house - but I decided to give them a miss this time and just veg out. I've spent the last few days sleeping a lot - I've never slept so much in my life! Today my head feels much clearer, so hopefully things will right themselves soon :)
The LG has been looking after me in his own fashion, so gets tomorrow and Friday off to go to tennis camp. Maybe I'll be bright enough to actually write something???

Date: 2009-07-08 05:29 pm (UTC)Of course, you don't have an aneurysm just once, it's something that stays with you until it ruptures. But an aneurysm should have been visible on scans.
I am not happy with your GP. I think he should look further, do more tests. But that might just be over-concerned Guinny talking.
Take it easy, and don't let them give you the brush-off!

Date: 2009-07-09 02:59 am (UTC)I'm glad you're okay. That sounds awfully scary. It's a good thing you have such good friends in the league to help you and the little guy.
Rest up and let yourself be pampered for the week.
Sorry I missed your initial post, but... in my defense, you did couch it all in terms of "rugby" and my brain would have skimmed the sports stuff.
