Roof worry

bookaddict43The cyclone north of us was downgraded to a low, but you'd never know it. It's rained all day and the wind down here at the beach is positively gale force. Actually stronger than our last cyclone I think.
We lost part of our big gum tree this afternoon and just now the gutter fell off the verandah roof and the roof itself is not looking too stable. Since it's 11pm and more than a little windy, I can't get up and tie the roof down. Cross your fingers it's still there in the morning please???? If it goes, the roof would hit someone else's house and I don't want that to happen *worries*.
