Thoughts of a late night knitter

I want to buy a photo editing program and found a site to buy either fairly cheaply. My question is does anyone know whether the latest programs run well with Vista? When I looked up the details neither of them mentioned Vista in the program specifications and I've learnt this makes these things very difficult...
