I still have my verandah roof, or most of it thanks to the PTB. And thanks to all of you who replied to my last post. I love my flisters *hugs*.
The wind has died down a bit today and the sun is out now and then, so I can ring the roof guy to go and look at it. In the end I lost the gutter and a couple of slats and the rest thudded and flapped all night. I'll have to get it fastened down for the next cyclone I guess. Really I would like a whole new roof for that part of the house, but god knows what that would cost. Quote time is fast approaching I think.
We lost more of the big gum tree and oceans of leaves and branches are down all over the yard. It's going to take days to clean up *sigh*. Down at the beach we had a king tide along with the wind, and the sand was actually blown all over the road, it's a lovely mess!
bookishtype is still cut off and can't come to work, but the rest of us are here and ready for Craft activities this afternoon!!!
