Thoughts of a late night knitter

I was home so late last night I didn't even open the mail (it tends to sit in the laundry for weeks sometimes before I open it!). But for some reason this morning I actually opened it - and there was my tax cheque!!

And its more than I expected! I can pay my rates and have money left to spend at the Flanvention! *does the Snoopy dance*

So since our dollar is up against the US dollar, I'm off to buy some at lunch time before it plummets again.

I'm also happy cause someone claimed after me on the ff_roundrobin (I didn't kill the fic this time *laughs*). Here's the link - go read and comment!! Please......

Bedevil : chapter five

Well I've done it! I bought the Weekend Pass. I'm waiting for the organisers' reply if I have to pay for the child and then depending on the answer will buy the banquet & some of the photo ops.

I'm crazy....and crazy, but it's two years since I've had an attack of traveller's disease, so I figure I'm due.

Anyone out there interested in sharing a room with me and the even crazier child? The accommodation cost with the exchange rate is my real problem.
