Eyes hurt, can't see

My eyes have given out for the evening. Why couldn't I not see during the most boring 3 hour meeting ever this morning??? No I have to not be able to see to read or write fic! *grrr*

I'm on my second day of waiting for my new glasses, cross your fingers I get them back tomorrow. The useless prescription glasses I'm wearing over my contact lenses are not doing what they're supposed to and my eyesight is intermitent at best. When I take the lenses out I can't see at all...

Sure hope this improves soon. I'm developing very premature cateracts, and my glasses can't correct for that, so I just have to put up with the blurring and glare until they're far enough along for surgery. It SUX not being able to see.

BTW, slices of cold cucumber are wonderfully soothing for sore, strained eyes. Just lay back, place a slice over each eye...and pretend you're a salad!

Pretending I'm a salad sounds excellent! I'll have to give it a try I think. anything to sooth them!!
