ladytalon1 and are a continuation from Drabble set one. Also dedicated to guinny_hamilton.
Title: Hands

Prompt: Life vest
“Now make sure your partner’s life vest is fastened,” the instructor continued. “Make them turn around and check everything, quickly but thoroughly.”
Mike sighed internally as Mrs Petersen giggled and started patting him down. Adroitly he dodged her inappropriate pokes and prods while wishing himself elsewhere.
“It’s my turn now,” she fluttered her eyelashes coyly. “I’m not sure I fastened my right.”
Grimly Mike started checking the buckles while glancing over at his trainee. She tossed a commiserating grin back at him and winked. Unwillingly he grinned back at her. Only Guinny could make a life vest look that sexy and have a handsome un-attached partner as well.
Watching the bastard running his hands over Guinny’s body, Mike vowed to put some pressure on the Captain. Mr Handsome deserved to be partnered with Mrs Petersen. Their hands would match perfectly.

“Hey Mike,” Guinny bounced through the door, tray in hand. “Report time.”
“So what’s the tray for then?” he smiled indulgently; thankful that none of the other Sea Marshals could see how she affected him.
“Dinner; I noticed you didn’t come down tonight.”
“I don’t think I could stand another night chatting to Mrs Petersen,” Mike said ruefully.
He looked so adorably cross Guinny thought as unthinkingly she reached out a hand to ruffle his hair. “Only two days to go; and I was thinking...”
What the fuck was this? Mike thought. “You were thinking?” he prompted. Guinny had shown no sign that she even liked him much and here she was ruffling his hair. It was giving him all sorts of ideas.
“I was thinking that maybe when I’m finished being a trainee, we could get together onshore?” Guinny leaned forward and kissed his cheek. "That's if you want to?"
"I think I could bear it," Mike grinned at her. "As long as you don't want me to go jogging."
