'Cause I wrote some for [livejournal.com profile] glimmerite and [livejournal.com profile] guinny_hamilton...

If you read this, if your eyes are passing over this right now, (even if we don't speak often) please post a comment with a COMPLETELY MADE UP AND FICTIONAL memory of you and me.

It can be anything you want - good or bad - BUT IT HAS TO BE FAKE.

When you're finished, post this little paragraph on your blog and be surprised (or mortified) about what people DON'T ACTUALLY remember about you.

Ah... remember when I came to visit you in the library and I brought my dogs and that hot guy thought they were yours and proceeded to hit on you like there was no tomorrow? Yeah, I'm still jealous. Also, what did you do with him? I noticed his car was still at the library overnight...

The other day I was thinking about that time we went to Harrod's and rode the elevator for two hours, acting like we worked there. I still swear that security guy pinched my wallet.

Ah ha! Is that why I had to pay for our tickets for Wings of Desire? I've always wondered. And those elevators were so cool. With their mirrored wall panels and classy music they were better than our bed-sit that's for sure!

I remember that time we went deep sea fishing off the coast of Mexico. You were so cute trying to reel in the Loch Ness monster, I hated to ask what you were gonna do with it when you got it on board.

Thankfully, Nessy was a wiley character and got away. We spent the rest of the weekend sunbathing, swapping stories of past loves and great meals we had. A boat of extremely hot Latino single men came by and we, of course, we're invited on for an all night dinner party. Both of us being romanced by hot latin lovers.

I'd say more, but certain confidences were exchanged as to the nature of events that night.

Ahhhhh. Those Latin Lovers. Weren't they beautiful guys? And you're right, we must never betray our confidences!

I just wanted to take Nessy home and bond with him *mourns*.

Oh man - trying to think of just a single memory is so difficult. Since I can't remember much of our Bad Seeds concert experience (silly monkey can't handle the liquor), what about that time we went skydiving on a whim? Man, that was scary, but really fun. It didn't hurt that we had some cuties attached to us as our tandem instructors, but you got much luckier than I. *winks*

So, when are we traveling cross country? Yours or mine first? :D

Wasn't he cute? I'm always a sucker for muscley arms and a bit of scruff on the chin. I've still got his address and phone number somewhere maybe he can come on the trip with us?

I think we should start tomorrow and in the interests of fairness we should do yours first.

It's got to be that time that we decided to make a patchwork quilt together. I got half my patches done, and even the applique ones, and you were so far ahead of me, I didn't know whether to send you what there was or just wait until I was done. Thankfully [livejournal.com profile] glimmerite knitted the remaining ones and the end result still has pride of place...somewhere.

It's hanging on display in the Quilt Maker's Hall of Fame in Canada. Periodically it's shown on that Quilt making reality show Patch this as an example of cross-border co-operation.

THAT ONE SUMMER. With the Boys Who Thought They Were Men TM, since they could shave and all. What a fast one we pulled on them, convincing them to shave their legs! Ha! Matt still won't speak to me because of that. *rolls eyes* You'd think time would heal all wounds... or at least grow hair back!

It was a wonderful summer. I'll always remember it. The bikini knitting contests, the laughs and jokes. The shaving one was the best though. Poor Matt, but who knew he had such a rare disease?

I'll never forget that time I came to visit and you showed me all around Australia in the pocket of that giant kangaroo. Though the best time was when we went streaking in the Sidney opera house in nothing but our Cunning Hats.
