guinny_hamilton led to a drabble, prompts: email & computers, which led to these two drabbles. This drabble, prompt: kiss
“I’m not requesting aid,” Marcus’ voice was cold as he looked the IT manager up and down. “I want to speak to Thace, the technician that fixed my computer last week.”
The man avoided his eyes and swallowed nervously, “She doesn’t actually work here sir.”
“She fixed my computer last week.”
She’d spent the better part of an hour ignoring him totally in favour of the cursed machine. Then she’d proceeded to give him a lecture about how to treat it till he’d shut her up by jerking her onto his knee and kissing her.
The girl had wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed him back with fervour till his grip loosened slightly. Then she wriggled out of his arms and dashed out.
“Um that was because everyone else was too scared to go up there sir.” The manager tried to explain. “Thace was visiting and offered to go.”
“You let an un-vetted computer technician fix my computer?”
“She isn’t un-vetted,” the man sank into a chair, his legs giving way. “She was offered my job but refuses to work for an amoral conglomerate. Those are her words,” he added hastily. “Not mine.”
Marcus crossed his arms and stared bleakly at the quivering manager. “Tell me more,” he said.

“Be with you in a moment,” Thace called when she heard the shop bell ring. Carefully she climbed down the ladder and dashed out to the counter.
Mr I’m So sexy I Can Kiss You Whenever I Want was standing there smirking at her.
“Mr Hamilton,” Thace’s voice was frigid. “What can I do for you?”
“I understand you specialise in some very interesting works I would be fascinated to read.” Marcus lowered his voice to a sexy purr that managed to imbue his words with several layers of meaning.
The infuriating woman in front of him was unaffected by the sexual overtones and answered haughtily. “My collection is only available to the invited. You’re not one of them.”
For a moment Marcus almost gaped at her. Women usually either flung or offered themselves to him without any effort on his part whatsoever. “Do you know who I am?” he asked coldly.
“An amoral lawyer type who can’t work his computer?” Thace answered, not backing down. She knew who and what Big Sexy was and there was no way she was going to get involved with him.
Marcus shook his head and wondered why he was bothering. The girl (he couldn’t put his finger on her age) wasn’t beautiful; she was too tall and too thin for him to be interested. He liked his women small, co-operative and voluptuous.
Was it her name that fascinated him? Anyone named after an ancient Greek kingdom had to be different. Or perhaps it was the pink hair? He’d always had a liking for pink.
