I wanted to finish Chapter 17 of Them That Choose It tonight but I've had it!! This week has seemed very long and it's only Wednesday night, I'm so tired. I guess I'll have to try again tomorrow...
Current fics/writing projects I'm working on (to remind myself)
The aforementioned Them that choose it (Jaylee)
Marcus, Danny and Jayne drabbles for
guinny_hamilton
Day Break, Posiedon Adventure & Angel drabbles for
ladytalon1
Letters & Corresponding notes - which I must resolve and finish
round three drabble for last fic writer standing - I'm so surprised I got through the last 2 rounds
Chapter 9 of Unexpected, a Zoe/Jayne I'm writing with the awesome
ceslas
And we won't even talk about Advancement my Jayne/Inara claim at
20_1sttimes...
On a happy note - My new great nephew arrived today at 4.10pm! He's so cute and snuggly. He's 3.5kgs in weight and 49cm long and despite my neice borrowing about a million baby name books, the poor child has no name yet. But that doesn't matter he has to grow into it...
To keep him straight in the little guy's mind we added our new baby on the family tree. His birth makes me a great-aunt for the OMG 34th time! Yes, we're multilying at a great rate here - the goal is world domination. I'm an aunt 19 times, great-aunt 34 times and a great-great aunt 6 times. I'm really not that old *wibble*.

Date: 2007-03-21 07:07 pm (UTC)So I had to read this line twice: My new great nephew arrived today at 4.10pm! Then I figured out that arrived = born. *snorts* That will teach me to not to stop-while-reading. Hazardous to the brain's functioning, that!
Also, Yes, we're multilying at a great rate here - the goal is world domination. Seriously. Between your prolific ability to write and that statement, I came up with BUNNIES! Bunnies are taking over the world!
You have amused me greatly. Chalk it up to my small family, I guess.
You are right, you aren't that old. *nods*
Um... I don't remember thanking you for the second postcard. I got it forever ago and it always slips my mind. (Faulty brain, should get it checked.) Thank you!

Date: 2007-03-22 01:53 pm (UTC)Bunnies? *rubs hands together in glee* What bunnies??
You should hear us when we all get together - it's scary!
Thank god someone doesn't think I'm old! I'm getting very cool red tints in my hair tomorrow to stave off the elderliness! :)
*babbles on again*
Date: 2007-03-22 02:20 pm (UTC)Bunnies! Yes. Bunnies are good.
Oh dear me. If I was with you when you all were together I'd probably laugh forever. And hang out with the kids... cause kids are so much fun! There'd be massive amounts of everything, since they are so many. XD Oh my, I'm too amused by this!
No. Not old. *nods firmly*
You should hear the conversations that I have with my mom on my birthdays. Usually along the lines of her feeling old since her baby is old. (Not that I'm the baby of the family, but that's just how mom's work. I'm sure you understand this thought.) Which is funny, in my mom's case, since she has that "doesn't even look old" thing going for her. From her mom, which has passed to me. I'm going to look like I'm a student until I'm in my 30s.
Red tints! Ooooh! Fun! Pictures? You do know that you can't say something like that and not post pictures, right?

Date: 2007-03-22 03:08 am (UTC)I'd lose my mind if I even had that many relatives, let alone if they were all younger than me. But then we are attempting to extinguish the familial lines in my family. We've almost been completely successful. :)

Date: 2007-03-22 01:58 pm (UTC)Well they're not all younger than me - my oldest neice is 57 this year. Try explaining that to folks...All someone from you family has to do is marry into mine - and they'll live forever!!
