“Alright!” Jayne grabbed Kaylee by the arm and hauled her onto the dance floor. “But we’re doin’ it my way.”
“Yer way?” she questioned with a giggle.
“My way,” he pulled her so close to his body she was plastered to it and lifted her so her feet rested on his shoes. “This way there won’t be no mistakes.”
“Folks might get ideas ‘bout what we been up to,” she warned.
“Do ya mind?” his blue eyes bored into hers.
Kaylee trailed her fingers along the nape of his neck and laid her cheek against his chest. “Nope.”
“Me neither.”
