There had to be a way out! Jayne looked around desperately, and spyin’ the back exit, headed toward it. There was no way he was goin’ through with this. No ruttin’ way.

He’d made a mistake. She’d caught him by surprise and he’d agreed to it. Never should have done that.

The others would ask questions, make fun of him. This sort of stuff wasn’t his strong point anyway. As he got closer to the exit he mentally rehearsed his excuses but was brought up short by a toe tappin’ form.

“Thought ya were gonna dance with me?” Kaylee said.
