bookaddict43It’s our first day back at work since just before Christmas. There was a line up of folks outside who’ve been deprived of books for 10 days, it’s about 90 degrees outside and more in here – and the air-conditioning isn’t working!!!
We don’t have any water either which means the restrooms aren’t working and the automatic doors don’t like the heat and keep opening and closing. It’s the beginning of a typical year at the library. It’s nice to know that some things never change…

Date: 2007-01-02 11:16 am (UTC)I'm back in Arizona three days now and am still sooo happy to be here. This place has it's own little quirks, as well, but I'll take them along with all the things I love so much.
Boy, how sentimental! I must not be feeling well.
