Snakes!!!

I'm just so glad the little guy isn't here!!

I came round the corner from hanging out the washing and there it was!!! A snake!

I live in the tropics - I'm relatively used to them but this one was a big one! And I hate them!!

The dog bailed it up and it was slithering all over the place and I dragged him away went inside and rang the Fire Brigade. You have to ring them because of poisonous snakes - we have some of the worst in the world around here.

Anyway they turned up and snakey was gone....About 10 minutes after they went I'm sitting here at the desk and the snake slithers out of the laundry!!! About 4 feet from where I'm sitting. I dragged the dog away and rang the F B again - they still haven't come back and watched the bloody snake go out the dog door!!

It just pushed aside the mesh! I'm going to fix it as soon as the snake catchers come and get the bastard!!

They caught him and he escaped!! They're still chasing him here and next door!!

I hate snakes.. But we don't have any poisonous ones here in the UK, but I'm always freaked when I go abroad!

Yeah I'm ok! I was just stunned at it being inside with me! I'll be fixing the dog door pretty quickly I can tell you! I could have done with Jayne & his gun right then....

Yuck! yuck! yuck! I don't mind snakes - when they are behind glass and unable to slither anywhere near me. But - in your house? *holds you tight*

Well first they didn't catch it - then it went to my neighbours and they called the F B again! And finally they caught it....it was a poisonous one a King Brown!

But I've recovered now - and a new door is being purchased tomorrow!

Okay, so I'm thinking that these guys aren't exactly good at this and should stick to fires and the like. How big is big? I'm envisioning a python...a huge python. What about taking a shovel or hoe to him? That's our method of dealing with poisonous snakes here. Or just use Vera, she'd get the job done.

Hope you get the dog door fixed, that would be really creepy? So um, "Snakes in a House" the sequel to "Snakes on a Plane" ??

"Snakes in a house" *snort*. It's actually illegal to kill the gorram things - believe it or not!

Poor old fire guys - this is the fifth time they've been to my place and the first snake they've dropped, not bad odds I guess. And yes don't worry I'm fixing the door pretty darn quick!

Well now see, here's where we differ, I wouldn't give a good gorram if it was illegal to kill the crazy things! And I don't even mind snakes all that much!

I mean, who would know if you killed it? Okay, can you tell I'm a hick?
