Should I do this?

Round #2 of jossverse_bb is open for sign-ups. Given my last two year record of not finishing much at all (reel_startrek I'm looking at you), I'm wondering if I should sign up.

I still have my unfinished Out of Gas AU I started a couple of years back for the only Firefly Big Bang. Of course that was just when I started getting sick, so the fic has been languishing ever since. Lately, however I've actually had inklings of ideas to finish it. I wonder if I can?? Any of my wonderful flisters out there want to read it and see if its worth me even trying???

I was eyeing that up! I have a Mal/Simon Harlequin type story that I've had languishing for ages that never went anywhere, it might just be the motivation I need to crack on and get it finished. We could cheerlead each other?

I have a plethora of 'romance' titles on my desk at the moment...This month all the leading men are Sicilian or Greek and are therefore exotic! Mal would be much more exotic :D

Well, it's Firefly so it's closer to the Wild West/frontier kinds of Harlequin. But with spaceships. *facepalm*

Or of course I could finally finish Fair Trade but I don't think that would take another 10k words.

I will have another look at their schedule when I get home tonight and make sure I can fit it around our holiday, but I definitely want to. And I want other people to as well!

If this is the story I'm thinking about, I give a definite thumbs up to you finishing it. I've always wanted to know how it turns out. :)

As for me, yeah, if I participate, I'd probably do my fic that picks up right after the BDM. It's the one I've been working on lately, and it still has a long way to go, so there'd probably be no difficulty with word count. ;)

bookaddict43, I'd be happy to read your fic, and we could all cheerlead each other. :) I see the bb has been pimped in a few Firefly comm's, so maybe there will be some others interested. *crosses fingers* We need more Firefly fic! :D

I think I'm ok since the final version doesn't have to be in until sometime in May. And yes, it is the story that you're thinking about.

Check ins, sprints, any kind of cheerleading would be fantastic. So much easier than writing in a vacuum. ;)
