I need help from my brilliant flisters!

I have a 64kb Ipod Touch and I love it! But I'm not using it to it's full potential. I want to watch some of the million (Slight exageration)fanvids I've downloaded. How do I do this? Anyone know?

I think you need to convert them to an iPod friendly format, as it won't play avi (not sure about wmv but I doubt it. Um...someone linked me something I think it was called Format Factory that was a good converted?

Sorry if this is not helpful, I don't have all the details with me right now.

It was Format Factory! The site is here, please don't be put off by the poor English, I'm assured the freeware is actually excellent.

The concert was awesome and amazing and out of this world WONDERFUL. There will probably not be a gig report because my reaction is still "*flail* AWESOME" every time I think of it. And a huge smile.

As itinerant_vae said you need to convert it to an iPod format which is something like Mpeg4 (can't remember exactly). I use Any Video Converter but that's only because it's the first one I came across and I'm sure there are plenty of others out there. I haven't tried it for a while (iPod getting rather full) but I don't remember it being very difficult and if I can do it, anyone can *g*.

If you can convert the vids to Quicktime, that also works. I recall that Super-C was one that worked for me.

Oh yes. Once you've converted the files, there should be a "Video" link in your iTunes "store". You'll need to drag from the folder where you have the video to the Library of iTunes. From there, you can select what to put on the iPod itself. At least, that's how it works with mine here in Canada.

Thanks! I'll be trying this. The vids should be great to watch while waiting for the LG to catch fish :)
