Ewwwww and I never realised

Toilet bowl frog is back and he is annoying me! I haven't seen him in over two weeks and I thought at last he was gone, but alas he's not.

Don't get me wrong; I like frogs in the abstract. I think they're beautiful to look at but...

They jump on you when you're innocently hanging out the washing at midnight. They poo all over the bricks on the wall. When it rains they come inside the house and die in the dust
before I can get the LG to re-locate them. They lurk at your front door and wait for you to step on them. The very same lurker occassionally climbs the security screened front door when I least expect it and scares me to death. This frog at least is useful. The dog spends hours at the front door wagging his tail and conversing in some strange language with said frog.

Toilet bowl frog is not useful and is hard to remove. I mean would you want to fish him out of the bowl??? I've tried all the old wives tales for removing said frog...but he's still there! And he freaks me out!! Today he managed to block the bowl when the cistern flushes and I had to take the cistern apart to fix it. *sigh*

Today are friend and I (somehow) wound up talking about our kitchen appliances and I realised that my microwave is a venerable 22 years old! I bought it way back when my little portable convection oven bit the dust. It took me four months to pay off on layby from KMart and aside from having to replace a seal, has never given me a moments trouble. But the reason I'm remembering this is not that I bought my microwave, but the fact that 22 years ago, was the time I changed my life by starting university as a mature age student.

Now I feel really old :D

A toilet bowl frog is one of the weirdest things I've ever heard. I mean, my mum but bit by a weasel, but she was in an outhouse [g]

This is so... *blinks* Frogs. In a toilet bowl. Over here, they're an endangered species. I can't even remember when I last saw one.

Dear goodness you are a strong person. Any one of the situations you describe and I'd need to be sedated for a long time.
