I'm probably telling you something you already know - but did you see that HBO is making a pilot of Game of thrones? And that Sean Bean will play Eddard?

I hope that -

(a)They manage to make the pilot actually resemble the book
(b)A whole series will be made and it doesn't get cancelled
and
(c)The show appears on Australian free-to-air television at the same time everyone else gets to see it :)

I can't remember if I've read the books. But hey, Sean Bean! We don't get HBO, too darned expensive, but I'm sure something will turn up [g]
