firefly100 sequel to Smoulder
Kaylee rushed down to the cargo bay, needin’ to see him, make sure he wasn’t hurt. Since their time together in the engine room, whenever the Captain, Jayne and Zoë went out on jobs her heart plummeted.
Usually she would be casually waitin’ in the cargo bay when they arrived, so she could look over him. Today maybe she would summon her courage and tell him how she felt.
“Jayne,” her voice shook as she stretched out her hand to touch him “are ya alright?”
“Ya worried ‘bout me?”
She nodded, blushin’ all over when his eyes lit with fire.
