Origianlly I was ambivilant about the strike on Friday, but after reading the comments posted by the LJ spokesperson I've changed my mind.

Like a lot of my flist though - if I migrate, I lose nearly all of you! *clings tightly* Also I've paid till February next year and I'm loath to give that man my money for nothing *is vengeful*.

Edit: I'm not leaving LJ either, for the moment, but what to have back-up plans.

So - I already had an IJ account (sorry squish, I never even thought of the name implications) which I never used. When I figure out the cross-posting thingie, I'll cross-post to there all the time and eventually maybe cross-post from there (a nice distinction). Before you tell me that cross-posting etc is easier, remember this is me, the person who can't even make an icon!:)

Also I've set up a jaylee_ship comm over there as well, because I really am mistrustful of the LJ heirachy and their way of doing 'business'.

In other news - I still can't find the little guy's passport! Why am I so stupid???????????????????????????

I did sign up on IJ as a just-in-case; so if you do decide to go over there, my name is the same. And besides, I think most of us would move over there, now that GJ is defunct.

Truthfully, I'm still a bit ambivalent about it, even if I am participating. *g* I doubt it will do any good, but I can always use the time away from LJ.

Nor do I plan to leave LJ anytime soon. I wish there were more options than IJ, but such is not the case. And they have problems that concern me beyond the mental health connotations. Still, I'll probably set up an account over there at some point, but for now LJ's still my home. It's where all my friends are. *hugs*

I'll do the strike thing but I'm not leaving LJ. I am gonna back up and was going to IJ but I'm debating http://www.deadjournal.com/ now instead. Just not sure on the colour tones...

Tried the most obscure place you can think of? And checked the clothes/coats you had on when last holding it?

I hate when things disappear. Especially passports. We need to all get new ones.

I don't think the strike will accomplish anything but I don't mind participating. I doubt enough people will though to make it matter.

I haven't given any thought to where else I would go. I know lots of folks have gone to IJ. I suppose I should set up an account over there too. Just in case.

I have an account over there, but I really don't want to move for the same reasons!! I don't want to lose everyone *hangs on tight*

And trying to figure out the stuff to move my whole journal over there just doesn't sound pleasant. It's why I didn't move last year when everything happened. Ugh.
