Any of my flisters out there use gmail? I have questions :)

I'm currently secretary for the Surf Club and they want a list of in and out emails for the Agenda. I star all the surf club stuff in my inbox and can see my list. But I have a problem - I don't know how to list the emails from this month only - do I use the filter option? Is it possible? It would save me typing out the millions (a slight exageration) of emails that I recieve all over again...

Any help is appreciated! *begs*

This is what I would do:

Select the e-mails you want in the first category. There's a pulldown menu labeled "More Actions". (next to the DELETE button) Choose New Label. Put in a label like "in e-mails". Repeat for "out e-mails". To views the e-mails in each category, go to the label links on the left column. The will be sorted by date, so it should be easy to what e-mails are from what month. Another way to sort months is that you simply make different labels--"January in e-mails" etc., or deselect the old e-mails as you're finished with them

Thank you so much *twirls*. You saved me lots of typing. Now all I have to do is print my list :)

"Edit Labels", under your label links, has some good functions.
