I just picked up my first installment of American Dollars and I'm smiling because it makes my trip seem a lot closer now.

Also I got a much better deal this time. The Aussie dollar has gone up so much! Last year I paid 74c Australian for $1.00 US. This time it was 88c and according to the news today, our dollar is hovering at the 90c mark which is a 20 year high. Maybe I'll buy some more while the going is good *bounces*.

It feels good to not be losing so much money!! *dances*

Hehe, here's you bouncing about the US/AU exchange rate and me well, bemoaning it. It means all the cashed up US tourists aren't coming to Cairns i.e. I'm struggling to make a decent commission.
