When she could hear it, which wasn’t often, River liked Jayne’s mind. Although they were not always nice, his thoughts were clear and uncluttered. With Jayne currently unconscious, his defences down, she loitered outside the infirmary, a particular goal in mind.

Simon had told her of Jayne’s angelic visions and she wished to see them for herself. Angels and their legends had always fascinated her. The thought that the big, tough mercenary saw the creatures in his mind intrigued her and she couldn’t resist peeking.

Sure enough, in the dreamlike haze which was permeating Jayne’s mind, all the female crew were present.

Displaying anatomically correct and very naked girl parts, Inara floated by, wings moving languidly. Zoë’s progress was steady and purposeful. Kaylee skimmed through the air merrily. She hadn’t expected to be included in the group, but there she was. Peeping round a corner, hair tangled, wings atilt and feathers askew.

River hugged herself in delight.

I think it's a good moment for River, kind of realizing that she's sexually attractive. Just what I was aiming for! That and the realisation that Jayne includes her in the group as well :)
