I've had a couple of very busy weeks lately and am sooo tired that I can't think. Also the cold has an adverse affect on my brain! It stops working.

This is my week for posting at [livejournal.com profile] summerofjaylee but the fic I want to post first - will - not - be - finished!!! *grrr* I have others, but I wanted it to be first *sigh*.

But I'm giving up right now and posting one of my alternate stories first. I'm hoping that then I'll be inspired to finish the recalcitrant story!

I bit the bullet today and made an appointment to get my eyes assessed to see if they're suitable for laser treatment. The receptionist stunned me by saying if my eyes were suitable - I could have the procedure done that day!!!

I don't know about that *wibble*. I was planning on months of research, planning and saving before I got to the next step...

OMG, Laser surgery! I want to have it b/c I've had glasses for -frickin'-EVER and am sick of not being able to see. But the thing you have to remember is that it's not a permanent fix... your eyesight will start deteriorating slowly until it's back t where it was, in five years or so. So just keep that in mind - but if it's for you, then go for it! You can let me know how it is.

Can't wait to see the fics, recalcitrant and otherwise!

Well they tell me because I'm old (ie over 40) that the fix will last longer. But I for sure will let you know how it goes :)

I know about the fics - but I did so want the other one to be first *sniffs*

Also love that icon *stares*

bigbadman used to be horribly nearsighted and wore dreadful thick glasses. When he was 40, he had the surgery and it has been one of the best things he's ever done. The only problem he experience was some dryness in his eyes the first month or so, but that soon went away, and now you can see his beautiful blue eyes instead of awful coke bottle lenses.

Which ever stories you post, they will be wonderful! I have two I'd hoped to post this week that Won't. Get. Done. So I do understand.

You know that it's only Friday here, right? I'm just worried that you forget the time difference. You have two whole days to keep writing!

I think you should just go for the eye thing that day if they say you can. That way you won't have time to talk yourself out of it!

It's good to know someone who's had the surgery. That's the thing that makes me the most nervous I can tell you. But it would be great to be glassesless!!

It's great to hear others have problems! RL has just taken over and I've slowed down just when I want to write more.

Yeah I think I'll do it if they say it's ok! The sooner the better I guess and then I might be without glasses for the cruise...

I sort of knew it was Friday there - but I was sad that I couldn't write it.
