Where did the time go?

bookaddict43The cheery school newsletter informs me that it's only 8 days till the end of the term! Where did the last 9 weeks go? It's nearly the end of the second term and I'm still back at the beginning...
Of course I have been busy, but I haven't finished the things I wanted to or done half the stuff I planned :( My works in progress are still just that (and I want to do lots more fic), my garden is still overgrown, my car still needs servicing etc. etc.
And this week is killing me again. Tuesday we went live with our new computer system which went well, but now we've got to catch up after being closed for a week. That afternoon the little guy had soccer practice that went on and on.
Wednesday I had a meeting 3 hours drive away, which meant leaving home before 7.00 and leaving the little guy at the teacher's house before I went to the meeting. Then of course we had a 3 hour drive back afterwards, followed by practice for the little guy's communion on Saturday.
Today I scheduled two meetings for the same time! (oops) Tomorrow I'm off to town to pick up my nieces from the airport, they're coming to stay and needless to say, I haven't cleaned the house or anything - and Saturday and Sunday are even worse...
But the little guy has got a very good report card - so all is right with the world! :D
