Busy and rambling as usual

Frogs are scary! I like looking at them, but when they jump on me in the darkness it freaks me out. It's been raining the last couple of days and we are innundated by them! They decorate my window, come in the door with the dog (The little guy has his work cut out, catching them before they're covered in dust and dog fur), and jump at me when I'm hanging the washing out! LOL

*deep breath* We've been busy all week at work learning the new computer system. I hope my brain can handle all the new knowledge! Tomorrow I learn all the managerial stuff - wish me luck!

I got my new computer today! *dances* I've spent half the night setting it up and it's getting there. I can't wait to get it all up and running. If anyone can tell me how to find out my connection details without sitting on the phone for hours - let me know!!

We have many little lizards here. Tiny things that scurry away from anything big (and considering that they are about the size of a finger, that's almost everything, lol!).

But we have stories, my man and I, about these little things. His involves a hitch-hiker lizard that traveled with him to work. When realizing that "work" wasn't his home, he hid back in the car and was there at the end of the day. Once home, the little thing jumped out of it's hiding hole and scampered off. LOL.

Mine, well my story isn't so cute. I was driving when I saw my hitch hiker lizard. He was on my windshield. Then, all of a sudden, he jumped off and landed again on the windshield. Which made me scream and flinch. The little thing was fine, no splatter or anything. When I slowed down, I think the little bugger jumped off. *shakes head* THAT scared me plenty! Like it was going to attack me or something, lol!

Yay! for new computers! Nice. XD

Connection details? Like internet connections? Or something else? What kind of computer is it? What kind of system does it use? I have Windows.

On my computer, I have a little "start" button in the lower left corner. In there is the "settings", where the "control panel" is located. In there are lots of things, specifically "internet options" and "network connections".

Don't know if any of that helps, but I thought I'd try. Good luck!!

Your computer help was helpful! I'm typing this now on my new one. Now all I have to do is transfer all my fics etc and I'll be right.

We have lizards too. The little guy will catch them and cuddles them on the couch *shudders*.

Yay!!! I'm good at tinkering with computers, but only if it's stuff I've done already, lol. This last year, I've spent way too much time in the "network connections" area, fixing up our new cable internet and doing other crazy things. Like figuring out why it won't connect to the internet sometimes, but those days seem to be over, thank goodness!

If you are needing help with other stuff, AND my previous chatter made sense, then feel free to ask again. *nods* I don't like adjusting myself to a new computer alone, especially if I can't figure it out.

Yay for the new computer, and I do think you'll need to call the computer people for your details. They usually don't give them out with the package so nobody else can get browsing on your internet account. If that makes sense. But look on the bright side, maybe you'll get the chance to talk to a pretty man!
