“Jayne,” Kaylee fingered her lumpy forehead. “Will ya look at this for me?”

Jayne peered at the rapidly swelling goose-egg. “Maybe ya should be seein’ the Doc about that.”

Kaylee blushed. After their last fight, she really weren’t keen on seein’ Simon for awhile. It was better for both of them to have some coolin’ down time. “I’m avoidin’ him right now. Couldn’t ya clean it up? I don’t think it’s real serious.”

“I’ll look,” Jayne sighed, gazin’ at her seriously. “But girl - is all this arguin’ and uncomfortableness worth it?”

Kaylee shook her head, “I don’t know anymore.”

I should be rejoicing at the Jaylee, but even though I know the Jaylee is going to happen it's still kind of sad :| Which is a weird reaction because you know how I feel about The Silee. *shrugs*
