Marcus Hamilton drabbles

guinny_hamilton. As usual I'm mega nervous about these non-Firefly writings - tell me what you think?
Prompt: Chocolate
“Yes Senator,” Marcus put down the phone with a sigh and turned to the chocolate covered girl lying spread-eagled on the conference table. ”Now where were we?”
He had a carefully hidden predilection for sweet things, both human and non. The sheer variety and availability of such things in this era was what reconciled him to being here. He ran his fingers up the inside leg of his current treat and gave her an encouraging smile.
“Remember, if you’re good the company profits increase another 20 per cent this year.”

“I am aware that I’m supposed to send an email request for aid,” Marcus gritted his teeth. “However that’s a bit difficult when my computer isn’t working.”
Marcus glared at his computer and resisted the urge to shake it. After much discussion and reminders from him that he was the conduit to the Senior Partners, the Information Technology section had agreed to send a technician; he glanced at his watch, three hours ago.
Patience at an end he rose to his feet. Snapping a few necks down at IT would ease the tension nicely Marcus decided. Flinging the door open he collided with a female body.
“Ooof!” she giggled landing on the floor. “Sorry I’m late Mr Hamilton, we’re sort of overworked at the moment.”
“You’re the computer technician?” Marcus raised his eyebrows. She didn’t look like the rest of the army of nerds down there. She wasn’t wearing glasses, her hair wasn’t pulled neatly back from her face, she wasn’t being smug and all-knowing.
“Well I am at the moment,” she grinned at him. “The rest of them were shaking in their boots about coming up here. So I volunteered.”
“You aren’t afraid of me?”
“Nope, why should I be? You’re just another helpless guy that can’t work his computer." Ignoring him, she sat down at the desk at started tapping keys.
“What’s your name?” Marcus growled, rethinking his thoughts about her being smug.

“You can stop hiding now,” Marcus rolled his chair away from the desk.
“About bloody time too, I was getting a crick in my back.” Spike crawled out from his hiding place.
“You want to tell me what you did to piss them off?”
“No,” the vampire shrugged. “I just piss demons off, it’s what I do.” He regarded Marcus for a moment his head on the side. “I don’t seem to piss you off though?”
“Well technically I’m immortal and not a demon. I’m just naturally evil.” Marcus shrugged. “And you’re good at what you do, I always appreciate good work.”
“Practise makes perfect,” Spike mocked, a smile curling around his lips as he bent towards Marcus’ crotch. “Best get back to it then.”
“Best,” Marcus agreed spreading his pants less legs wide…

You are a natural, m'dear! Was the IT girl, by any chance, meant to be Guinny? Cuz I totally get a Guinntastic vibe from her :D The first and last ones are so naughty, I love 'em! *glomps you*

And the emails one, I love how she just sticks him in the "man who can't use his computer" box and therefore nothing to be afraid of! I'd love to see a follow up to this one and see what he does with her!
