firefly100 which I forgot to post! A continuation of To and fro
River had done everything Jayne required of her; touched that he knew her so well.
But her patience was gone; forgotten. She was tired of waiting for Jayne to make his move.
Marching with determination to the cargo bay, River stopped and gazed; entranced. It was meat and drink for her to see him.
“What?” demanded Jayne to her disturbin’ presence.
River waited till he set the weights in their cradle, she didn’t want to damage her partner of choice after all. Climbing onto his chest, she tucked her head into the crook of his neck. “I’m tired of waiting.”
