Good chapter, you've got all the parts coming together now (and I'm not just talking about Jayne and Kaylee!). Mal and Zoe are keeping one step ahead of the bad guys, Jack is getting better, and of course there's J/K!
One thing, your first word should be "they're". I'm sure you know that, it's just so easy to miss these things.
