Here's yet another extract from a WIP I wish I could finish :)
“I may throw up on you,” he said and I liked him straight away.
He’d already caught my attention when he was arguing with the ensign and he cemented that by offering me his hooch. Anyone who shared their booze like that was worth knowing, and he was for sure different to all the other people on that shuttle. There was no uniform consistency about him and that drew me in like a moth to the flame.
Of course me being me, I didn’t realize what I was feeling; or even if I was feeling.
