Hi! I just thought that I would pop over here and say how sorry I am that you were eliminated this week! Your drabble was really good - the last line was a sucker punch that really worked. It was just a really outstanding week, I thought. Every week I've thought that, and every week the competition is just getting tighter and tighter!
Anyway, I was browsing your other stuff too. I was really sad when Dick Francis died too. The first of his books that I read was one where the hero was a groom on a small airline that flew horses around Europe and like you I collected all his books. I'm so sad that unless there is an unpublished manuscript lying around there will never be another 'Dick Francis' for Christmas :(
