OMG why??? They're televising Beach Cricket!!!!! Beach cricket?
WTF for?
Isn't it bad enough that the regular cricket is on ad infinitum from November to May? That the games take days? That watching the game is about as exciting as watching cement set?
Beach Cricket is (for me), the game families play when you all get together for the holidays. It's impromptu and fun and everyone gets a go no matter how bad a player they are; there's always in jokes and gags and the games and heckling go on for ages.
Now here it is on TV - with name players playing, commentators commenting seriously on the state of play and, no doubt, much money being made. It's sacriledge I tell you! :D
Why am I watching it you ask? Because the little guy knows I hate it - so he put it on!!!! *shakes fist and cuddles him*
