Another meme!
I'm depressed so I'm doing memes...
This one is from way back in February!
Comment to this post and I will (try to) give you 5 subjects/things I associate you with. Then post this in your LJ and elaborate on the subjects given.
strangevisitor7 gave me these...
(1) Jayne Cobb. I love Adam Baldwin and have and will watch him in anything. When I heard he was in Firefly I was thrilled. The moment Jayne did his maths, 'and nothing from nothing leaves nothing', I was lost. Jayne fits all the criteria for the characters I usually go for. He's morally ambiguous, smart (in his own way), can fight and has muscles to die for.
(2)Icons. I love icons and have a huge collection of them, but I never made any. I tried a couple of times with a program at work, but failed. If I wanted a special graphic I usually asked my brilliant flisters and someone would make me one! Then when I was visiting
xx_squish_xx she showed me how to use Paint Shop. I bought my own program and now can make icons and have lots of fun doing so!
(3)Magnificent Seven. I watched this back in the day when it first came to television. I love Westerns and am a fan of Michael Biehn, so I had to watch! I taped every episode (the channel didn't show them all) and watched them often. Of course my tapes eventually died and I never could locate any commercial videos. But then last year I bought both seasons on DVD and watched them right through. Naturally then I had to look for fanfic for the show...
(4)Australia. Is where I live and I love it. Although I travel a lot and love plenty of the places I visit - I still want to live here. Of course I do live in a beautiful area and that helps too :) If any of my flisters want to visit I'll welcome you with open arms!
(5)Books. Books and I have had a love affair all my life. I love them. They are also an addiction :) Despite the fact I work in a library, I buy books all the time. My family make me turn my head when I walk past a book store, but I still manage to acquire them. At any one time I can have 4 books (or more) going at once. I have one in the car (for when I get stuck as the cane trian goes by), one in my bag (for checkout line waiting etc), one at work (to read at lunch time) and one at home.

You're a bookaholic *g* and you work in a library? That's pretty cool. Did you find Mag7 fanfic? Indulge?

I get to buy the books for the library too - so my addiction is well served :)
I found the Mag7 fic and have over-indulged!
Did you want to answer the five things? If so here they are:-
1. Jayne/Simon
2. Work
3. Reading
4. Mythology
5. England

2. Work: I used to love my work but it’s grown boring and stagnant recently. With the recession there’s not my work and I’m worried that by July I’ll not have a job. I’d love to go further and learn more but at the moment everything is just routine. I spend most of my work time reading the new pages online and looking at comments.
3. Reading: I love reading, especially when it’s fanfic off my PDA. I very rarely read books now though, it takes too long to get into one. The last book I read was ‘he’s just not that into you’, which I got disgusted with-the advice was good, the negativity and condescending tone of one author vs. the whiney accepting negative tone of the other turned me off it.
4. Mythology: I’ve always been interested in this but watching Hercules/Xena did fuel my interest. I like seeing how different myths are interpreted in different texts, it’s fascinating but something I don’t have much time for at the moment.
5. England: Where I live…there’s so much I could say on this. A lot I’m proud of music, arts, multicultralness here. But so much pisses me off too. The way our government splashes money around: MPs allowed to steal, benefit cheats being given loads, people allowed to abuse the NHS just visiting from abroad to do so. I have a feeling if it’s hot this summer the chances are, the way England is going with it’s overly PC criminal-loving victim-punishing system-they’ll be blood on the streets. The countries being ruined by everyone in power.

3. Like you I read more fanfic than anything else these days. Though I do wish my muse would come back and I could write it...
5. I hope the blood in the streets doesn't happen. England has always been one of my favourite places to visit :)

Your muse gone on holiday too? They are finkicky things aren't they?
I hope not, but there's a few groups that are dedicted to causing it, even disrupting peaceful protests. Natural wankers I guess. If they kick start the mob...I hope not too though, especially as I work in London ><.

But since you asked, give me something to elaborate on then.
