Dear River,

I'm sorry I worried you mei mei. You know I'm sometimes clumsy in my personal life, and never quite know what to say to people; even my beautiful sister.

The truth is, I was imbroiled in yet another relationship problem. I seem to be fated to never realise how people feel about me. Why is that so?

My current problem is my associate, Rafael. I haven't told you much about him because I was, and still am, very unsure about our possible relationship.

Rafael, or Rafe as he likes to be called, is foreman at the mine. he's very charismatic and the employees are devoted to him. In many ways he reminds of the Captain, which confuses me greatly.

Of course the other point of confusion is - my sexual persuasion. I have no prejudice about same sex relationships, but I've always been involved with women. It's rather perplexing River; and as usual I've vacilitated and done nothing.

I don't even know what I feel and certainly don't want to do to Rafe what I inadvertantly did to Kaylee. I want no more hurt and misunderstandings. I intend to ask Ellen's counsel. She is a true friend. Something I never expected.

Aside from my relationship problems, everything else is going smoothly.

I have adapted quite well to the trading culture, and exchange goods and services fairly well. My cooking is improving, I can almost eat my own meals and am much more comfortable in my quarters.

I hope things are going as well with you? How is everyone on Serenity? We here are all waiting for your return. Ellen, of course, is planning some kind of feast and Mattie has cleaned the store so often it sparkles. I too will be glad to see you. I miss you River.

I was just looking at your fic links to the right, and have to LMAO at the "other pairings" button. He looks thoughtful when paired with Inara and Kaylee, but downright pissed to be written with River! Just look at the scowl on his face, I have to ask Squish if she did that on purpose. LOLOL

I think my idea of which one I like the best changes as to my mood. But one that always stays near the top is Recurrent verse (http://bookaddict43.livejournal.com/30109.html#cutid1). I just had so much fun writing it and really liked my OC Vic.

The fic currently frustrating me the most is Them that choose it (http://bookaddict43.livejournal.com/30109.html#cutid1). I've written 18 or my 20 chapters, know how I want it to end, and can't get those two last chapters written :(

I cried while writing Ain't leaving (http://bookaddict43.livejournal.com/9518.html#cutid1) and really felt something between Jayne and Simon in Brooding (http://bookaddict43.livejournal.com/136025.html#cutid1).

It'd been three weeks since he'd told John no more, and it wasn't getting any easier.

John had kept exactly to his request. He hadn't touched, said anything suggestive, or even really looked in Devon's direction.

Devon wanted him to. He wanted the man to be as frustrated as he was.

And that bugged him. He shouldn't be frustrated. He and Ellie loved each other and had outstanding sex all the time. But he still wanted John and couldn't stop thinking of him and how much sex they'd missed out on. That wasn't fair to Ellie, it was un-awesome.

He had no idea what to do, so he took his problems to the person who understood him most...

Ellie wasn't stupid. She'd seen the way John watched Devon and hadn't blamed him. Her man was pretty gorgeous. She hadn't expected Devon though to have repricorated the feelings, let alone act on them. He was almost agressively hetrosexual.

"How far did you go?"

"Not all the way. Some pretty good blow jobs, lots of frottage. I stopped us before it went further."

"Did you want to go further?" Ellie was intrigued by the thought. Devon was pretty talented with his mouth; the mental picture of his lips wrapped around Casey's cock and the other man's reaction to it, excited her. She wondered what it would like; Casey fucking Devon? Those two would look amazingly sexy together.

"That's why I'm talking to you babe," Devon took a deep breath. "I love you, but I want him too."

"Well I'm not giving you up," Ellie grinned at him. "So how about we ask John if he'd like to share?"
