She worried ‘bout him up there; in plain sight, always standin’ on guard. She didn’t like that his were the most dangerous jobs; the one’s most likely to get him killed.

Danglin’ over the edge and the climbin’ never bothered her when Jayne was there.

When he weren’t there, Kaylee was scared for herself and worried for him; she never knew what trouble he might get into, if the job would go smooth.

Finally finished, Kaylee gave the rope a jerk, relieved when he pulled her up.

Smiling at his words, she kissed him on the cheek, “missed you too.”
