Romance titles
Here's some statistics from this month's list of titles:-
Out of the 8 books I've catalogued
2 of the female protaganists are over 20 and still virgins.
3 females are hiding either their pregnancy or child from the male in the story
2 of the male 'heroes' are Italian
Bride is mentioned in 3 of the titles and
Proposal is mentioned twice
All of the men are handsome and most are rich as well
What does this tell us?
That rich, handsome men can do what they feel like and don't know how to practise safe sex.
That women haven't progressed much since the 1950s and don't know how to practise safe sex.
That obviously I don't hang out in the right circles.
That any man from Greece, Italy or Spain is much sexier than their English/American/Australian counterparts - unless they're doctors! :D
The titles themselves
The innocent's dark seduction
The Italian Count's defiant bride
Hired: the Italian's bride
The Diakos baby scandal
Outback heiress, surprise proposal
The billionaire's bride of convenience
The rebel surgeon's proposal
Temporary doctor, surprise father
The Italian Count's defiant bride
Count Francesco da Luca isn’t used to being made a fool of. When his wilful bride fled the marriage bed, he vowed she’d pay the debt owing him – a wedding night!
But Alicia Cross is no longer the trembling, naïve innocent he married – and she won’t be pushed around by the masterful Count. His runaway bride is proving to be more of a challenge than Francesco anticipated – until he discovers she’s still a virgin. The wedding night he wanted is his for the taking!
